    My dad is going for an ICD tomorrow morning. Thank you for this support group and information about the ICD. It really helped to calm his nerves and make him feel better about the whole situation

    To my friends...Bill & Mary Grace,
    To the people on this site, I was again Hospitalized at PMC from April 3rd, to April
    8th....with Heart Problems..
    As I was sitting in the chair in my room anf happened to look up, who do ya think I happen to see?, Yes, it was Bill & Mary Grace ( The two that started this site).
    It is amazing that with their busy schedule they came to see how I was doing , " and not only once, but "twice"....
    The Caring and concern that these two have for their Patients is...PRICELESS...
    I am proud to be there friend and also a memeber of the Shockers..
    I have another Proceedure at St. Luckes sometime this month, so I hope that I can attend the meeting on the 22nd..
    AGAIN !!!! THANKYOU BIll & Mary Grace for not only taking the time to see me but also for the time and effort you put on this site...

    Semms like no activity on this site "at all" not even notes from last meeting or new pics,, My surgery will be on May 20th at St Lukes and the "may" have to do open heart to get to it.. will keep ya posted.

    Had 3rd wire put in at St Lukes, all ok just recovering,,, no action on this site "at all", i know pics were taken at the meeting, but not even people putting comments?? As soon as I recover I will look into helping people haveing icd's put in at pmc.. Hope to hear from you or "anybody" on this site..

    "ANOTHER GREAT MEETING"
    It was so nice to be informed on the information on the ICD'S , along with the diet information.... I enjoy the meetings alot , and also enjoy nice people like "YOU"..
    I see this web site improved, so I challenge anyone to write me, and I "PROMISE" to reply....

    Well, I'm sorry I couldn't make last night's meeting. A 4 hour trip to Scranton turned into an 8 hour trip; and we got home around 5:30 pm totally spent.

    These meetings are definitely worth the time; in the future I'm not going to schedule any other appointments for the day we meet.

    Another great meeting on Oct 28th..
    Many thanks to Bill, MaryGrace, and Sue for giving us more information given at this meeting. I was floored to find out if our device goes off our Cardiologist is required to notify PENNDOT and we can't drive for 6 months.... Don't forget folks, if you have any questions or concerns these people are here for "YOU" and will answer any questions you have... I will ALWAYS support the Shockers, and I am greatfull for the concern and caring from "all" the staff at the Cath Lab... THANKS AGAIN

    PennDot only has to be notified IF IN THE DOCTOR'S OPINION you have received an, 'appropriate' shock.

    Yeah, Rich, it was another good meeting. Kind 'a makes me feel better about life with the, 'Energizer Bunny' sitting on my left shoulder! ;)

    Hey Dave,
    Your right, it is a nice feeling having that Energizer Bunnie at your side....
    It was a good meeting and I am hereing this about a "POSSIBLE" CHF Support group.
    I have an idea Mary Grace, since the shockers will have a meeting every month, why not "combine" the two meetings together since now it is an hour and a half , so just make each meeting an hour and pul them together , and save on gas and room holding, and ya may get a larger crowd, Hey, just a suggestion... Dave, have a good one, and all of you have a great month.

    Just to let you know that on my last admission to PMC, I greatly appreciate your input and suggestion to the reps of Boston Scientific about tweeking my ICD, So far so good.. but as usual , your concern for your patients that have issues with the Cardiac Cath Dept. is at it's HIGHEST STANDARDS,,,

    Hello Gang,
    Sorry that I have not been on here and missed the last meeting, I was in Cardiac ICU for a few days then the Cardiac unit,, The Bright side is that I went again to the Cath lab and saw my pal Mary Grace, the Bad news is I might be a canidate for a Heart Transplant at the University of PA, but lets hope my Dr. wants to change his mind...
    Hope to hear from some of you ... and I will do my best to go to February's meeting..

    Hi Folks,
    I am so sorry I did not make January's meeting, I was admitted to PMS (( TWICE )) in January, the first time in Intensive care for 3 days and second admitted with CHF.. Lets hopoe for February.

    Hello once again,
    I was in PMC , but my Dr. said I could go to the meeting, but it was canceled because of the Snow Storm.... Since that day I have been doing pretty good, so I sure do hope that I don't have to go back in..I don't have one complaint about PMC, but rather be home where I belong.. Looking foward to seeing ya all soon.... and Bill, I hope your trip tured out to be good and hope that it all worked out for ya, as you deserve the BEST..

As I was admitted, that did not stop the dinamic threesome from bringing me from my room (as I was admitted) to another large turn-out meeting.     Having alot of testing done in preperation for the LVAD, now maybe in late September in Richmond VA ( no less) yipes... I see there is still no actifity on this site. zzzzwell it won't stop me because I know the time that Bill, MaryGrace, and Sue but into all this , so if I am the only one that messages, guess what ( I CARE) thanks and I will keep ya lll informed
